Hi my name is Ali Hartanto. I have owned akitas since 1998. I grew up with dogs and other animals all my life. My father used to breed German Shepherds back in the 80’s and 90’s. Wisma Ali Kennel was his prefix back then. Being a GSD breeder, types, movements and balance in dogs were very important. He had bred and raised V and VA rated dogs, including his very own locally bred dog that beat his own father and other imports under the late SV judge Herr. Walter Martin.

 He thought me so much about movements and looking at bone structures and balance in dogs.  

The Akitas are different dogs all together compared to the GSD.  I have found that the Akita is an amazing breed as they are very gentle and a great protector of the family. The big Bear Headed dog or a gentle giant is what we call them sometimes.

No wonder most people who had owned an Akita would say :

"Once you own an Akita , you would never go back and own other breeds of dog.”

    About my kennel  " Wisma Ali " is a small kennel located in Perth, Western Australia .

We breed for the future of our kennel and to better the breed. We do this as a hobby and for the love of the breed, not a business.
We breed for good tempered, healthy, sound Akitas.

  Temperament is the most important to us, since all our dogs are companions first and foremost. Most of our dogs live with families with children, so they must have good temperament.

 All of our breedings are well thought out ahead of time. We are breeding only from vet cleared hips and eye tested parents. We do not have puppies every year and only breed when we want to keep something back and/ or if we feel we could find the right home for our puppies.

 We do get pets in our litters and all pets are sold on a limited registration.
